IIUI Holds Seminar on ‘Digital Pakistan Vision 2047’

The Directorate of Student Affairs (Male), in collaboration with the Faculty of Management Sciences, organized a seminar at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) in connection with Youm-e-Pakistan “Maarka-e-Haq” and Independence Day 2025 celebrations. The seminar was themed “Digital Pakistan Vision 2047.”
Mr. Ammar Jaffri, Director General, Center of Information Technology (CIT) and Former Additional Director of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), was the chief guest. He was accompanied by a team of professionals and industry experts who delivered presentations on Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on guiding students in aligning their Final Year Projects (FYPs) with these domains.
Dr. Muhammad Arshad, a founding member of NUST and a noted expert, also addressed the participants and shared insights on setting meaningful goals and pathways for success in life.
The session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Dr. H. Ghufran, Director Student Affairs (M), delivered the welcome note, encouraging students to make effective use of digital tools to enhance academic and professional efficiency.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Ghufran, followed by the presentation of a souvenir to the chief guest. Faculty members and guests were also served refreshments.
