AI and Machine Learning Summer Bootcamp for Kids Concludes at IIUI’s IPD

The Institute of Professional Development (IPD) at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) concluded its Summer Bootcamp on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, aimed at school students from Grade 2 to Grade 8. The program, designed to introduce young learners to the fundamentals of emerging technologies, culminated with a presentation of student-developed projects on the third day of the Future Education Leaders Training Program.

The concluding ceremony featured demonstrations where students showcased their work in designing and developing basic bots. The projects highlighted the potential of early exposure to STEM fields, and the young participants received appreciation from the audience for their creativity and enthusiasm.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director of IPD commended the dedication of the teaching faculty behind the bootcamp and acknowledged the contribution of Dr. Arooj Rashid in the successful execution of the program. He noted that such initiatives are critical to preparing the next generation for the demands of the digital era.

Chief guest Syed Burhan Ali, CEO of Robotmea, also addressed the gathering. He praised the efforts of the organizers and underscored Robotmea’s ongoing commitment to promoting STEM education in Pakistani schools. He emphasized the importance of equipping children with technological skills from an early age to align with future educational trends.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates among the participating students. The bootcamp served as an opportunity to promote innovation, curiosity, and hands-on learning among young minds, setting the stage for further youth-oriented tech programs at the university.
