IIUI Convenes Long-Pending DPC to Review Officers’ Service Profiles and Promotions

In a significant administrative development, the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has convened a long-awaited meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) to deliberate upon the service records, qualifications, and performance of university officers across various cadres. Held after a considerable lapse, this meeting marks a vital institutional milestone toward reinforcing transparency, merit, and career progression in the university’s administrative structure.

The DPC was convened under the leadership of the President of IIUI, Professor Dr. Ahmed Saad Al Ahmad, and reflects the administration’s commitment to ensuring that deserving officers are provided with structured avenues for professional growth. It is part of the university leadership’s broader vision to promote a culture of recognition, accountability, and institutional strengthening.

During the session, the Committee undertook a comprehensive review of officers’ academic credentials, work performance, and service trajectories. Following detailed deliberations, recommendations were finalised regarding eligible promotions, which will be tabled before the upcoming meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) for consideration and formal approval.

This initiative foregrounds IIUI’s ongoing efforts to nurture a performance-driven, forward-looking administrative framework that honours dedication and facilitates upward mobility within the institution.
