The six-day capacity-building workshop for administrative staff at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), organized by the Office of Professional Training under the Directorate of Human Resource Management and Development (HRM&D), entered its midway point with focused sessions on workplace ethics and stress management.
On the third day of the training, Dr. Inam ul Haq, Director Administration, delivered an interactive session addressing key challenges faced by administrative personnel. He emphasized the role of ethics in official communication—both verbal and written—and highlighted the importance of stress management in maintaining productivity and professional integrity.
Dr. Inam discussed practical strategies for handling stress, encouraging healthy lifestyle choices and drawing attention to the role of religious and moral values in building personal resilience. He recommended regular reading, particularly of spiritually rooted texts, as a way to deepen ethical understanding and navigate complex workplace situations.
Dr. Faryal Ambreen, Incharge Dawah Center for Women, commended the initiative and praised Dr. Inam’s hands-on guidance for managing stress. As part of the Dawah Center’s contribution to the training, she announced the distribution of Shamail-e-Tirmizi, a hadith compilation on the character and attributes of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, to all workshop participants. The gesture was welcomed by attendees as a valuable addition to their personal and professional development.
Dr. Inam personally distributed the books among participants and expressed appreciation for the Dawah Center’s support. The ongoing workshop continues with further sessions designed to enhance administrative capabilities and promote a productive work environment.
