Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President of the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), visited the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology to review its academic and infrastructural facilities.
He toured various laboratories and departments during the visit, accompanied by Vice President Prof. Dr. Abdur Raheman, Dean of the Faculty Dr. Asmat Ullah, Director Administration and Works Dr. Inam ul Haq, as well as faculty members and relevant staff.
The Dean briefed the President on the faculty’s departments, academic programs, and their ongoing contributions to the field of computing and information technology. He also highlighted the areas where improvements were required with the support from the university.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed emphasized the importance of creating a conducive academic environment for students. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the faculty is equipped with facilities that meet academic and technological standards aligned with global benchmarks.
He further directed that the identified infrastructural requirements must be addressed on a priority basis and instructed that a comprehensive report be submitted to him at the earliest to ensure timely action.
