IIUI President Meets Provosts and Student Advisors to Strengthen Constructive Student Engagement Framework

President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, held an important meeting with the University’s Provosts (Male Campus and Female Campus), Dr. Ibrar Shinwari and Dr. Sajida Jamil, alongside the Student Advisors (Male Campus and Female Campus), Dr. Ghufran Ahmed and Dr. Rukhsana Tariq, to discuss the university’s evolving strategies for student engagement and wellbeing.

The meeting focused on proactive initiatives to ensure students remain constructively involved in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, while also safeguarding the academic environment from disruptive influences. Both Provosts shared updates on the living facilities available in the hostels, particularly highlighting the efforts to provide a hospitable and inclusive environment for all students.

The Student Advisors, in turn, presented meticulously prepared presentations that clearly elucidated the communication pathways and workflow structures involved in organizing student events. These detailed plans included SOPs, flowcharts, and codes of conduct that outline procedural steps, responsibilities, and gatekeeping mechanisms to ensure that student activities are harmonious, inclusive, and aligned with the university’s core values.

The President appreciated the structured and coordinated approach taken by the Provosts and Student Advisors, emphasizing the need for clarity, transparency, and efficiency in student governance. He also reiterated the university’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and intellectually enriching campus life through supportive institutional frameworks.

The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to promoting responsible student leadership, ethical conduct, and sustained engagement through purposeful and well-regulated avenues.
