IIUI President Pays Visit to Kuwait Hostel, Reviews Facilities and Interacts with Students

President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, visited the Kuwait Hostel at Faisal Masjid Campus to assess living conditions and engage directly with students.

The President conducted a random inspection of hostel blocks, visited student rooms, and held direct interactions to listen to the concerns and suggestions of residents. He emphasized the university’s commitment to student welfare and assured full support, stating that his office remains open and accessible to all students.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed also met with students of the Faculty of Shariah & Law (FSL) residing in the hostel. Students highlighted several key issues, including the urgent need for renovation of hostel buildings, improvement in the quality of mess food, the introduction of extracurricular and recreational activities, and the provision of adequate bike parking spaces.

The President issued on-the-spot instructions to concerned departments for ensuring proper cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the hostel facilities. He underlined the importance of a safe, comfortable, and encouraging environment for students to excel academically.

The visit was also attended by Director Administration/Works Dr. Inam ul Haq, Provost Dr. Muhammad Ibrar Shinwari, Chief Security Officer, IIUI Lt. Col. (R) M. Ali Haider Amin Kazi, and officials from relevant departments.
