The 7th meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President IIUI.
The meeting took place in the Council Hall of the Administration Block and was attended by key members of the BASR, including Vice President Research and Enterprise Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President Academics Prof. Dr. Abdur Raheman, Deans of various faculties, and external academic experts.
During the session, the board thoroughly reviewed and evaluated research synopses submitted by students from several faculties. These included the Faculty of Computing & Information Technology, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Languages and Literature, the International Institute of Islamic Economics, and the Faculty of Sciences.
After comprehensive deliberations, the board provided recommendations and issued instructions to ensure high research standards and uphold academic integrity.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed emphasized the significance of quality research and stressed the need for strict adherence to academic protocols, reaffirming IIUI’s commitment to excellence in postgraduate studies.
