IIUI Students Participate in National Declarama Competition at Bahria University

Students from the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), representing the Politics and International Relations Students Association (PIRSA), actively participated in the National Declarama Competition held at Bahria University.

The event brought together participants from approximately 26 universities and several academic institutions, with around 60 speakers competing in an intellectually stimulating environment.

PIRSA fielded two teams, comprising Syed Shafeh Shafi Gilani, Yahya Iftikhar, and Obaid ur Rehman. The students demonstrated strong analytical skills and articulate expression during their speeches.

Obaid ur Rehman, a second-semester student of International Relations, secured 7th position among nearly 60 contestants. His performance was a moment of pride for PIRSA and the Department of Politics and International Relations at IIUI.

The consistent support of the department and the guidance of Dr. Manzoor Khan Afridi, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, played a vital role in preparing and encouraging the students.

Such participations reflect the growing engagement of IIUI students in national academic platforms. PIRSA aims to continue its contribution to academic excellence and public discourse in future competitions.
