CLT Hosts Workshop on Teaching Expository Writing to Undergraduate Students

The Centre for Language Teaching (CLT), International Islamic University Islamabad successfully organized a one-day workshop on “Teaching Expository Writing to Undergraduate Students”.

The workshop, part of the faculty development initiative led by Dr. Salma Kalim, Head of CLT, aimed to enhance the teaching skills of faculty members in imparting expository writing skills to undergraduate students.

Distinguished resource person Dr. Muhammad Kamal Khan, Chairman of the Department of English at Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, shared valuable insights and strategies on teaching expository writing.

The session was appreciated for its engaging, interactive, and informative nature. Dean, Faculty of Languages and Literature Prof. Dr. Fauzia Janjua expressed gratitude to Dr. Kamal for his valuable contribution to the workshop. The event was attended by permanent and visiting faculty members of CLT, who benefited from Dr. Khan’s expertise and experience.
