A condolence gathering was held on Tuesday, 6th May 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the Auditorium, Fatima tul Zahra Block, Female Campus, International Islamic University, Islamabad, to express solidarity and offer prayers for the departed souls of Dr. Haleema Sadia’s brother and seven other family members, who tragically passed away in a car accident.
The condolence reference was solemnly initiated with a heartfelt Dua Maghfirah by Dr. Fouzia Saeed, invoking Allah’s mercy, forgiveness, and eternal peace for the deceased:
اللهم اغفر لهم وارحمهم واعف عنهم واجعل قبورهم روضة من رياض الجنة وأدخلهم الفردوس الأعلى مع الأنبياء…وألهم أهلهم وذويهم الصبر والسلوان…اللهم آمين.
The gathering was attended by faculty members and staff of the Female Campus, who came together to share in the grief and express their condolences.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Amna Mahmood, In-Charge Female Campus, conveyed her deep sorrow and sympathy to Dr. Haleema and her family, offering words of comfort and support. She prayed for patience and strength for the bereaved family and appreciated the collective spirit of the IIUI community in standing with their colleagues during times of sorrow.
Dr. Haleema Sadia expressed her sincere gratitude to all those who attended and shared in her grief, acknowledging the support and prayers as a source of solace during this immensely difficult time.
