Professor Dr. Zubair Iqbal, Vice Chancellor of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), called on the President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, at his office located at the Faisal Masjid campus.
During the meeting, both dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest and explored avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation. They agreed to pursue joint ventures aimed at building academic excellence and institutional development.
Professor Dr. Zubair Iqbal briefed the IIUI President on the significant progress made at BZU under his leadership, highlighting key initiatives in solar energy adoption, digital transformation, and academic advancement.
In turn, the President of IIUI provided an overview of the university’s ongoing contributions to society, its growing research capabilities, and efforts aligned with its international character and Islamic vision. He also shared updates on the implementation of the university’s newly approved strategic plan, particularly in the academic domain and operational reforms.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening inter-university collaboration for the advancement of higher education in Pakistan.
