The Freelancing Society, an initiative under the Business Incubation Centre (BIC) at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), organized a free masterclass on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and research writing for female students.
The session was held at the Science, Technology and Business Space (STBS) building.
The event aimed to introduce participants to the use of AI tools in academic research and writing. Muhammad Arif Jan, Founder, and Ms. Shehla Javed, Co-Founder of the Freelancing Society, conducted the session. They demonstrated various AI tools useful for topic selection, literature review, grammar correction, citation management, and final editing, using examples relevant to academic needs
Engr. Muhammad Ahsan Mirza, Director of the Business Incubation Centre, stated that the initiative reflects IIUI’s commitment to equipping female students with essential technological and research skills. The Freelancing Society plans to continue offering such training sessions to support student development and encourage engagement with emerging tools and practices in education.
