The outdoor games segment of Sports Gala 2025 officially kicked off at the cricket ground of the male campus, bringing together students from across 11 faculties for a series of exciting sports competitions.
The opening ceremony for the outdoor games was attended by Dr. Saeed Badshah, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs, the outdoor games feature active participation from both Pakistani and international students. Events include cricket, football, basketball, mini cricket, and various track races, reflecting the university’s vibrant sporting spirit.
Dr. Saeed Badshah, in his address, appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and highlighted the importance of such activities in fostering teamwork and leadership. “Sports play a vital role in students’ overall development. I am pleased to see such high energy and participation across faculties,” he said.
Dr. Ghufran Ali, Students’ Advisor, reaffirmed the university’s commitment to providing enriching extracurricular opportunities. “The Students’ Advisor Office always strives to offer platforms where students can grow, stay active, and engage in healthy competition. We believe such events are key to holistic education,” he noted.
