UII Delegation Visits IIUI to Explore Academic Collaborations and Scholarships

A delegation from Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) visited the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) as part of their official promotional tour to Pakistan. The delegation included Ms. Nihlah Ilhami, Head of International Mobility, and Ms. Citra Nurlaity Anggara, Coordinator of Inbound Mobility.

The meeting was held at the Board Room, New Campus, and was chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman, Vice President (Academics & Finance). It was attended by Deans, Directors General, Student Advisors, and representatives from relevant offices, including the Linkages Office, International Office, and UEFA.

The session focused on exploring mutual collaboration opportunities, especially in the areas of higher education, research exchange, and international mobility programs. Vice President Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman welcomed the guests and briefed the delegation on IIUI’s academic role, research contributions, and the range of faculties and student population it serves.

Ms. Nihlah Ilhami delivered a detailed presentation highlighting UII’s Global Learners Scholarship Program, under which more than 30 academic programs at various levels offer scholarship opportunities for international students. She also discussed potential double degree programs, curriculum mapping, and avenues for joint research and academic exchange.

Further, the delegation emphasized outbound mobility programs, existing international partnerships, and ways to strengthen ties between the two institutions.

The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to enhance academic cooperation, exchange knowledge, and foster global learning initiatives.
