
Dawah Academy of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized a ceremony at Faisal Masjid which was held at to recognize students and teachers who excelled in the annual Wifaq-ul-Madaris exams for the memorization of the Holy Quran.
The event was presided over by Director General of Dawah Academy, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, while the guest of honor was Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram, Director General of Shariah Academy.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Dr. Qari Zia-ur-Rehman, In-charge of the Islamic Center, welcomed the guests and acknowledged the efforts of the teachers. He expressed gratitude to Allah for the students’ success and congratulated their teachers and parents.
On this occasion, Guest of honor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram emphasized the importance of Quran memorization and understanding. He acknowledged the contributions of Dawah Academy in this field.
In his address, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ilyas appreciated the role of Dawah Academy in promoting Quranic education and urged students, parents, and teachers to continue their dedication.
During the ceremony, successful students and their teachers were awarded certificates, and an honorary shield was presented to the guest of honor.
