The Road Safety Training Program, organized by the Office of Professional Training under the Directorate of Human Resource Management & Development in collaboration with the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP), concluded at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).
The initiative targeted professional drivers and conductors of IIUI’s transport system,serving as a refresher course to reinforce road safety knowledge and regulations. The training was conducted by NHMP personnel, including Inspector Muhammad Younas, Inspector Nabeela Yasmeen, and Sub-Inspector Asifa Jilani.
During the session, participants were educated on traffic rules, safety protocols, emergency handling procedures, and best driving practices. The NHMP team also distributed informative brochures to enhance their understanding of road safety measures.
The program featured interactive discussions and practical demonstrations, ensuring hands-on learning for attendees. A quiz competition was held at the end, where participants enthusiastically took part, testing their grasp of the concepts discussed. Winners were awarded gifts by the NHMP team as a token of encouragement and recognition.
The initiative highlights the shared commitment of IIUI and NHMP to promoting road safety awareness and fostering responsible driving habits. Both the NHMP officials and participants appreciated the program, acknowledging its positive impact on improving road safety standards among professional drivers.
