VICE RECTOR FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS INTERNATIONAL EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY MALTA CALLS ON IIUI PRESIDENT

A delegation from International European University Malta led by Mr. Shahroze, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs called on Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, Acting President of International Islamic University (IIUI) in the new campus of the university on Monday.

During the meeting, issues pertaining to promotion of education and broadening the exposure of Pakistani and Asian youth in terms of academic excellence and higher education in the European universities were discussed.

On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman, Vice President (Academics) and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Sayed, Vice President (HS&R) of the university was also present during the meeting. IIUI Acting President briefed Mr. Shahroze regarding the vision, goals and international affiliations with the educational institutions and services of the institution. He said that the university is providing a peaceful and learning environment to the students of more than 40 countries. He also told him about the separate female campus dedicated to the female students. Dr. Muhammad Sarwar reiterated his resolve that the university will remain keen and open for the opportunities of cooperation that may lead to improvement in academic excellence and brighter future of the students.

Mr. Shahroze also briefed about the services being provided to the international students for their recruitment in the International European University Malta told about the present Pakistan students ratio studying in university and issues pertaining to students with respect to their recruitment for admission and visas. On the occasion, Mr. Shahroze hailed IIUI’s services and said that the university is well-known for its approach to study. He said the university is a hub of learning where youth may find guidance and education with the blend of Islamic values and teachings.

In the end Dr. Muhammad Sarwar thanked the Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of International European University Malta for visiting IIUI and appreciated the role of university management for provision of educational opportunities to the Asian and Pakistani youth.
