The 2nd graduation ceremony of Islamic Research Institute, International Islamic University, Islamabad was held on May 19, 2024 at Jamia Muhammadi Sharif, Chiniot. H.E. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs was the chief guest of the ceremony. The ceremony was chaired by Mr. Justice Syed Muhammad Anwar, Judge, Federal Shariat Court. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, Director General, IRI, IIU, Islamabad welcomed the honorable guests. Sahibzada Muhammad Qamar ul Haq, President, Jamia Muhammadi Sharif, Chiniot presented the report of activities of Jamia Muhammadi Sharif, Chiniot. The ceremony was conducted by Dr. Hafiz Aftab Ahmed, Head of Department (HOD), Department of Comparative Studies, IRI, IIU, Islamabad.
It was attended by many local nobles and academicians such as Mr. Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA), Mr. Taimoor Lali, MPA, Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Chinioti, MPA and Mr. Ghulam Abbas MPA. One hundred and Sixty (160) students were awarded certificates of completion of undergraduate training of IRI.
