Prof. Dr. Samina Malik, Rector International Islamic University (IIU) , on Monday, chaired a meeting of ICT infrastructure/ CMS component sub-committee of PC-1 titled “ expansion and upgradation of IIU” at the new campus of the university.
The meeting was also attended by Vice President, Research & enterprise, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed. Dean FET, Khan zeb Jadoon, Incharge IT & his team, officials of Finance, planning & Development.
The meeting was apprised about the progress on the various tasks. The Rector IIUI desired that the task force established for the issues to resolve the matters related to CMS keep expediting its efforts in the leadership of Dean FET.
The Rector IIUI said that various important components considering the project closing date and directed to the concerned quarters to meet the deadline and ensure the completion as per set requirements of the project. She hoped that the sub-committees and task force shall keep working hard to meet the deadlines as per roadmap devised for exquisite execution of the tasks.
Dr. Samina Malik said that the CMS must be implemented in complete manner as soon as possible. She said that the university will keep encouraging the officials who are dedicated and hardworking. She also stressed for the united efforts for completion of the project adding that the official work must be a top priority as all offices are meant to deliver maximum. She opined that the attitude of just joining the office for attendance is not the actual objective but the university management expects constructive results.
