A National Technology Council (NTC) Re-accreditation visiting team lead by Prof. Dr. Anwar Khitab, Team lead and expert civil called on H.E. Dr. Hathal Momoud Alotaibi, President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).
The visit to IIUI by the team was held for the purpose of Re- accreditation of Engineering Technology programs in the Civil, Electrical and Mechanical at the Faculty of Engineering Technology (FET) of the university.
The team members included Prof. Dr. Shahid Maqsood, Expert Mechanical and Prof. Dr. Gulistan Raja, Expert Electrical. The meeting with the Worthy President IIUI was also joined by Dean FET, Dr. Khan Zaib Jadoon, Chairman Civil Dr. Rashid Farooq and Dr. Syed Athar Masood Incharge Academic Affairs.
In the meeting, role of IIUI in promotion of Engineering and Technology was discussed. The Dean FET apprised on the curriculum, adoption of Outcome Based Education System and other relevant matters.
The IIUI President said that the university management gives prime importance to the FET as it is one of the vital faculties and both university and society will benefit from its further progress. He also apprised the team that university’s academia and industry linkage approach specially through Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
