Meeting of the core project execution committee constituted for project expansion and up-gradation of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) was chaired by Rector, Dr. Samina Malik and co-chaired by President, Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi.
The meeting was also attended by the Vice Presidents, relevant Directors and project coordinator. The committee reviewed the overall progress of all the components of the PC-1.
The committee recommended that a special unit keeping in view the priority of the campus management system must be established at the IT section to address all the issues occurred in this regard. The committee reviewed various important components considering the project closing date and directed to the concerned quarters to meet the deadline and ensure the completion as per set requirements of the project.
Matters pertaining to tenders, expansion and upgradation of network equipment, optical fiber cabling and procurement of furniture and office equipment were also discussed. The committee recommended that the result based monitoring framework compliance must be observed with a keen focus on project closing date.
