DEPARTMENT OF TEACHER EDUCATION (FC) ORGANIZES WORKSHOP TITLED “PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS IN PAKISTAN”

In a proactive initiative, IIUI, International Islamic University’s Department of Teacher Education at the Faculty of Education, MS Teacher Education, First Semester, organized a comprehensive workshop on “National Professional Standards for Teachers (NPSTs)”.

The workshop received accolades from Chairperson Faculty of Education, Dr. Shamsa Aziz, who expressed appreciation for the initiative, emphasizing its significance in fostering professional development among future educators.

This collaborative effort aimed to equip participants with a deep understanding of the National Professional Standards for Teachers, emphasizing their importance in shaping the future of teacher education. The event not only provided a platform for practical insights but also highlighted the commitment of the Department to enhance the quality of education through continuous learning and development.

Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, In-Charge (Programs) Department of Teacher Education) and Dr. Zarina Akhtar, Assistant Professor and Dr. Fouzia Ajmal, Assistant Professor also shared their insights during the workshop.

The event was attended with the participation of a large number of students from the Education, Second Semester, under the supervision of Dr. Fouzia Ajmal Assistant Professor, Department of Teacher Education.
