Introduction
As per the vision of the International Islamic University and mission of the Faculty of Education to provide excellence in teaching and research, the Post Doctoral Research Fellowship has been planned in the field of Education. Faculty of Education is a privileged having a PhD and Post doctorate faculty members graduated from renowned national and international universities with diverse experience. This Post Doctoral Research Fellowship is a one-year program that will empower Post Doctoral Research Fellows from Pakistan and abroad by providing them an opportunity of being in touch with the latest research methods, techniques, pedagogical approaches, and supervision.
 
Objectives of the Program
The objectives of this Post Doctoral Research Fellowship Program include to:

  1. Enhance the research, teaching, academic writing, and supervision capability of the fellows by providing mentorship and opportunities for professional development.
  2. Provide a research environment for the academicians and professionals to enhance their skills.
  3. Equip themselves with the latest developments in the field of Education to become active educational leaders, researchers, and academicians.
  4. Train the scholars to develop and implement projects in the field of Education.

Duration: (12 Months)
Postdoctoral Research Fellowship will be held over a period of one year in which fellows will participate in workshops on campus four times during the year. Each workshop will run for a period of one week. Between the two workshops the fellows will be required to work on their research under the guidance of supervisor which will be allotted by Faculty of Education, International Islamic University.
 
Requirement for Completion:
Fellows who participate and complete all the requirements of the program as well as successfully completed their assigned work up to the satisfaction of their advisor/mentor within stipulated time will be awarded a testimonial certificate as recognition of their completion of the program.
 
Fee structure
For National Fellows:  Rs. 50,000/- for 12 months
For International Fellows:  US$ 600/- for 12 months

The selected candidates will submit the bench fee of Rs. 50,000/- for national candidates and US $600 for international candidates
