H.E. Dr Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President , International Islamic University, Islamabad chaired an important meeting and announced that keeping in view the ongoing inflation and upcoming Eid, the university has decided to grant the next installment of arrears to the employees before Eid ul Fitr.
Chairing an online meeting that was attended by the Vice Presidents and all the relevant officials, the IIUI President thanked Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister of KSA, H.E. Mohammed bin Salman for the funding that has been provided to IIUI. Dr.Hathal said the Saudi funding has helped IIUI in the time of the financial crisis as the university managed its previous month’s salaries and installment of arrears through this funding. H.E. Dr Hathal said that welfare of the IIUI community and facilitation of the students are top priorities that is why the decision has been made to provide installment of the arrears to all the employees before Eid. He added that in the same manner , earlier, the Finance department was directed to release installment of arrears so that all university employees may not face any financial issues during the Holy month of Ramadan.
Talking about the importance of students facilitation, the IIUI President said that no stone shall be left unturned to provide an ideal environment of learning to the IIUI students. Referring to the future plans and development of the university, Worthy President said that the university is working on a comprehensive business plan in wake of a prosperous future. He said through digitization, adoption of latest teaching and learning technology and varisty ‘s strategic plan, soon the IIUI shall be among the ranks of leading universities across the world. He said the university, through modern initiatives such ODL, paperless administration and infrastructural reforms, IIUI would soon be shining as a top seat of learning.
