The opening Ceremony of Tajweed ul Quran course for the spring 2023 organized by Faculty of Arabic was held at Female Campus. In this course, “Rules of Tajweed” will be taught by Prof. Dr. Sawsan Hassanein, while Focal Person of this course is Dr Ammara Gulzar.
Prof.Dr. Fazlullah, Dean Faculty of Arabic spoke on the virtues of reciting Quran,as well as he thanked to Prof. Dr. Sawsan for organizing such a great and unique course for students and wished for successful ending.
Dr. Samia Nazish, Incharge Arabic Faculty formally welcomed all the guests. In her address, she briefed about the importance of course and its aims. She thanked Dr. Sawsan for her great efforts and keen interest to conduct this course, and all the invited guests and participants for gracing the occasion by their solemn presence.
Earlier, Prof. Dr. Sawsan Hassanein, gave brief introduction to the participants regarding Tajweed ul Quran and its rules. She apprised the audience about the methods of recitation saying: “ Tarteel (ترتيل) is the authentic way of recitation and pronunciation of Quran”. This ceremony was attended by many students of various departments with excitement and happiness.
