Ruitong LI (Yaqoob), a Chinese student of BS Translation and Interpretation passed away in an accident on March 15.
News of the demise of Yaqoob in an accident has engulfed the campuses with grief. The university leadership has expressed deep sorrow and grief on the loss of the precious life of its student. The IIUI President has prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and directed that the family of the deceased student be facilitated and concerned offices must take care of the arrival of the bereaved family. Time for funeral prayers of the deceased student shall be announced later.
Meanwhile, Vice President Academics Dr. Ayaz Afsar condoled with the Chinese students and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Students Advisor Dr. Rizwan Aftab was also present on the occasion. The Vice President assured of maximum support and conveyed that President IIUI has directed for full cooperation in the funeral of the deceased student and arrangements of the arrival of the family.
