In the light of the directions of H.E. Dr. Hathal Homud Alotaibi, President, International Islamic University (IIU) to beef up the security and maintain the strict checks at the entry gates, a visit was conducted by university high ups to review the arrangements and observance of the high priority guidelines.
The team that visited the entry gates of the university on Thursday included Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed Vice President Research and Enterprise, Dr. Ayaz Afsar Vice President Academics and Dr. Samina Malik Vice President Female Campus.
The Vice Presidents desired that the as per directions of the worthy President, it must be ensured that everyone should wear the university cards and no official or the students shall be allowed to use transport or enter into university without proving his/ her identity through valid cards. University security personnel were also further sensitized about strict checks at gates and they were also guided to explain basic SOPs to cooperate with security staff.
