SEMINAR ON TIB-E-NABAWI AND SCIENCE ORGANIZED BY DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

Department of Biological Sciences (DBS) in collaboration with Directorate of Students Affairs, Female Campus of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized a Seminar on Tib-e-Nabawi and Science. Dr. Sania Zaib and Dr. Sadia Aziz were the Event Conveners.

Dr. Zakia Hashmi, a renowned Muslim Scholar and a Homeopathic Doctor was the guest speaker of the program. Dr. Asma Gul, Incharge Faculty of Sciences in her welcome address highlighted the health benefits of the natural food available and its importance to cure different diseases with reference to Hadith. Dr. Asif Mir, Chairman Department of Biological Sciences, Dr. Shaheen Shahzad, Incharge Programs and DrSumayya Chughtai, Students’ Advisor were also present on the occasion.

The Guest speaker diligently explained what Tib-e-Nabawi is and highlighted its importance in our day to day life. She also shared the health benefits of Prophetic foods proven through scientific research.

Dr. Summiyya Chughtai, Students Advisor in her remarks congratulated the Department of Biological Sciences for sensitizing the young minds on this very important topic.

Dr. Asif Mir, Chairman Department of Biological Sciences gave vote of thanks to all the guests and distributed the shields and certificates among the guests and organizers.
