KING SALMAN HUMANITARIAN AID & RELIEF CENTER’S TRAINING COURSE AT IIUI POSTPONED

A meeting between the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center – Pakistan office and a special committee of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) was held here at the council hall of university.

During the meeting, it was agreed that the training in the various fields for the IIUI students would be postponed due to certain reasons and it was also decided that the training shall be rescheduled after the final term examinations.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Samina Malik, Vice President female campus. The Saudi delegation that participated in the meeting was headed by  Ms. Ayesha who introduced her team and its expertise in the various fields. The delegation apprised that the experts would be offering training in electrical installation course, mobile phone maintenance course, first aid course and ceramic pottery course. Both sides discussed importance of the course agreeing that it would add more value to the skilled based professional learning of the students.

Prof. Dr. Samina welcomed the delegation while adding that the university is happy and thankful to have the cooperation of the Saudi Government. She said the university’s dedicated teams would be among the leading ranks in hospitality and other allied arrangements whenever the course commences after announcement of new date. The delegation members thanked IIUI management for the hospitality.

On the occasion, the chair also hailed the efforts and contributions of the team that made the recent extravaganza event successful. She said the event was a great source of university’s image building that ultimately resulted in the surge in recent spring admission.

The present members of the IIUI Committee including Provost male, Students Advisors male and female , officials of the Protocol and Public relations office, senior directors and other relevant staff also appreciated the team work and vowed that, like extravaganza, every event shall be managed with same zeal and zest.
