H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), visited the Faculty of Shariah & Law (FSL) where he held a meeting with the faculty and also talked to the students.
On the occasion, Vice President Administration and Finance, Dr. N.B. Jumani, Vice President Research and Enterprise Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed and Vice President Academics, Dr. Ayaz Afsar accompanied him .
Dean Faculty of Shariah and Law Dr. Attaullah Faizi , Heads of the departments and faculty members were also present on the occasion. Worthy President also visited the classrooms and advised the students to remain devoted to the studies and service of world.
On this occasion, honorable President was briefed by the Deans and the heads of the department about the programs and activities.
The IIUI President said that FSL is one of the pioneer faculties of this university that gave renowned names to the world in the field of Shariah and Law. He said keeping in view the legacy of the high standards, university is keen to make this faculty more strengthened.
He stressed upon the faculty to be devoted for provision of best academic facilities to students. H.E. Dr. Hathal reiterated his resolve that IIUI would keep providing a milieu of peace and high quality contemporary education integrated with teachings of Islam. He desired that the culture of research should be promoted among the students. He hailed hard work of the faculty and staff , while he also assured of all possible support.
