IIUI STUDENTS WINS ACCOLADES AT 10TH INDUCTION ROUND AT GIKI

A team of final year students from BS, Mechanical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) won accolades at 10th Induction Round as the team has cleared all stages and is among top 10 projects out of more than 100 projects from all over Pakistan.

The team will get a chance to incubate the product through BIC, GIKI in collaboration with the Directorate General of Science and Technology (DoST) Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).  The event was hosted by the Business Incubation Center (BIC), Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Technology (GIKI), Swabi.

The team from DME, FET, IIUI comprising of university students Hafiz Feroze Khan, Mutaher Zubair and Hafiz Ahtisham ul Haq, presented their Final Year Project titled “Design and Fabrication of Plough for Small Farm (Motorbike Driven)” in the 10th Induction Round of THE CATALYST.

Prof Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Sheikh, Dean, head / chairmen of all Departments of Faculty of Engineering & Technology, FET, IIUI greeted the students and supervising team of students for acquiring the accolades. Dr. Nadeem hoped that the university students may achieve further academic and practical excellence in the field of technology in future endeavors and serve the nation to combat the challenges of the era in the way of development of the country.  Dean, FET also wished for a bright future for students of the university.

The project team was supervised by Dr. Engineer Muhammad Ishfaq Khan from Department of Mechanical Engineering (DME) FET, IIUI and was co-supervised by Engineer Shah Rukh Khan from Department of Civil Engineering (DSE), FET, IIUI.
