Federal Minister for Interior, Rana Sana ullah Khan held a meeting with Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President , International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) at the new campus of the university.
During the meeting, role of IIUI in promotion of Islamic values and education was discussed. The meeting was also attended by Chaudhary Manzoor Ahmed, General Secretary, Pakistan peoples Party Punjab, Gen. Awad Bin Abdullah Al-Zahrani, Defense attaché, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Federal Minister for Interior hailed the efforts of the University for promotion of education. He said that IIUI is serving entire Muslim Ummah and it is a centre of hopes because it nurtures the most precious asset that is youth. He also congratulated the IIUI President and his team for organizing a splendid event in connection with the independence day celebrations.
On the occasion, IIUI President apprised the honorable Minister about the future goals, vision and activities of IIUI. He said IIUI is keen to enhance its educational ties with universities of Muslim world. Dr. Hathal also briefed him about the university’s new strategic plan. He vowed that the university will be among the leading ranks to promote quality education.
IIUI mission is to transform the society by promoting education, training, research, technology, and collaboration for reconstruction of human thought in all its forms on the foundations of Islam.
