CAREER COUNSELING DESK

Career Counseling Desk provides guidance and plays a unique, value added role in helping Undergraduate Students to become/get ready, gain access, and succeed in career goals. This is especially true for traditionally unaware or ill-prepared youth bulge, which is now facing increasing risk factors associated with growing unemployment. Therefore, to cater the 21st century professional needs of young graduates such as to help them flourish in their professional cadres, the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA) engages the Career Counselors to facilitate the valuable students manage their journey through life, learning and work changes (career). This includes career exploration, making career choices, managing career changes, lifelong career development and dealing with other career-related issues. To address professional readiness, students are also offered trainings on skills development that includes personality grooming, communication skills, interview techniques, CV writing, presentation skills, articulation in argumentation, and ability to pitch the entrepreneurial aptitude.
