MAIDEN VIRTUAL DA’WAH TRAINING COURSE FOR FOREIGNERS CONCLUDES

Maiden Virtual Da’wah Training Course for foreigners organized by  Dawah Academy of the international Islamic University (IIU) concluded.

The 8 weeks long virtual course collaborated by Dawah Academy with GainPeace USA and Guyana Islamic Trust was built on the theme “How to Present Islam to Non-Muslims” that was attended by as many as 247 participants hailing from 46 Countries.

 

Online certificates were awarded to the participants who completed the course in a virtual ceremony that was presided over by IIU  President, H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi. It was also attended by DG Dawah Academy Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Course coordinator, Incharge , International Training Programs Ihsan Malik and other relevant officials of the academy.

These countries included Afghanistan, Algeria, Aruba, Australia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Burundi, Egypt, Fiji, Ghana, Guyana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Taiwan, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Trinidad, Turkey, UAE, Uganda, United Kingdom, USA, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Congratulating the participants on completion of course, the IIU President said that they are the torch bearers who are chosen for the sacred cause of Dawah and understanding Islam. Terming participants as ambassadors of Islam and university, Dr. Hathal stressed that they must disseminate true message of Islam that they learnt from the course. He also appreciated the efforts of Dawah Academy. The IIU President added that importance of virtual learning has doubled due to the prevalent pandemic.
