SHARIAH ACADEMY CONDUCTS VISITS FOR PARTICIPANTS OF 62ND REGULAR COURSE

Participants of the 62nd regular Shariah (Islamic law) Course for the officials of legal fraternity visited various cities of Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad and also Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The participants included District Session Judge, Additional District Session Judges, Session Civil Judges,Distrcit Qazis, District Attorneys, Public Prosecutors and law officers.

The delegation of the participants was headed by Director General Shariah Academy Dr. Abdul Hey Abro. As many as 20 course participants hailing from all the regions and provinces of Pakistan are part of this 14 week long course.

The course that started in December will cover the areas of Islamic jurisprudence, family laws of Islam, criminal law of Islam, commercial laws of Islam, International laws of Islam, Islamic judicial system, modern legal concepts, administrative and constitutional law and institutions.

According to the conducting officer of the course Dr. Muhammad Asghar Shehzad, during tours to the various places in different cities, the participants visited Peshawar High Court, Peshawar High Court Mingora Bench (SAWAT), KPK Judicial Academy, Lahore High Court, Punjab Judicial Academy and National School of Public Policy at Lahore. The participants also visited Kashmir Institute of Management, High Court of AJK, Muzaffarabad, Meeting with Acting Chief Justice, Supreme Court of AJ&K and also met with Acting Chief Justice.
