The 13th Meeting of Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) for year 2020 was held here at new campus.
It was chaired by President IIUI, Dr. Hathal bin Homoud Al-Otaibi, while it was also attended by Vice Presidents, Deans, senior faculty members and relevant officers. The meeting discussed research issues and synopses of the various departments of Faculty of Social Sciences and International Institute of Islamic Economics. The board members gave recommendations on various topics and discussed important issues pertaining to research.
On the occasion, IIUI President said that BASR is a vital forum and it will be further strengthened in the future. Talking about the research, he said that universities must have an impact on the society and academic fraternity must strive for the research relevant to the societal requirements. He called upon the faculty to keep working hard for the academic excellence. The IIUI President assured of maximum cooperation to faculty and students, while he hoped that constructive research will be conducted in future.
