An orientation session on Higher Education Commission (HEC) initiatives was held here at new campus of the International Islamic University (IIU) where Dr. Zain ul Abidin, Director General, Research and Development Division briefed the participants.
The session was joined by President IIUI Dr. Hathal bin Hamoud Al-Otaibi, Vice Presidents, Deans, Senior Faculty members and relevant officers.
Dr. Zain ul Abidin , in his presentation on the initiatives gave a detailed future landscape by discussing salient features, expected outcomes, role of universities, nature of the policy, participation of faculty and benefits for the students. On the occasion, he hoped that IIUI leadership will be of great help and cooperation.
On the occasion, IIUI President assured of maximum support and also congratulated HEC on a comprehensive policy while saying that IIUI’s faculty and management will be among leading ranks to implement the HEC’s initiatives.
