The department of Anthropology at Female Campus (FC) of the International Islamic University (IIU) organized a workshop on “Effective Teaching” and an Orientation for Students.
In the workshop, Dr. Noreen Saher, Chairperson, Department of Anthropology welcomed the faculty members and motivated them for effective teaching by sharing practical vision and practices on lecture designing. She also guided the faculty on persuasive delivering of sessions in classes, time management, personal integrity paper setting, evaluation and leading the students with pro-activism and motivation.
Meanwhile, an orientation session for new were also organized. Students of the department including new comers participated in the ceremony. The student organization of the department of Anthropology had organized this event under the supervision Ms Ujala, president of student organization. In the session, Ms Tahreem Vice president of student body and a student of BS programme, paid tribute to the faculty of the department and motivated the students for good performance besides sharing some sweet memories regarding seminars, trips and various other activities held in the last semesters.
Dr. Noreen Saher, Chairperson, Department of Anthropology, while welcoming the students assured of academic and managerial support. On the occasion, Ms. Rabia Sarwar, coordinator informed the students about the rules and regulation regarding class attendance, grades etc.
