DR. JUMANI INAUGURATES ONLINE ISLAMIC TEACHINGS COURSE ORGANIZED BY DAWAH ACADEMY

A fourth online Islamic teachings course organized by Dawah Academy of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) was inaugurated by Prof Dr. N. B. Jumani, Acting President of the university.

The ten days long course will be consisted of lectures on three basic subjects including Tasfseer of verses of the Holy Quran, life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and importance of Dawah.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jumani highlighted importance of online teaching and distance learning. He opined that recent global pandemic has changed the teaching and learning landscape.

He added that expertise in online teaching and distance learning have become prerequisites to achieve the goal of academic excellence. The Acting President appreciated Dawah Academy’s initiative for continuing its mission through online modes. Dr. Jumani hoped that participants will be a source of implementing Dawah Academy’s message in society.

Dr. Tahir Mehmood, Director General of the academy presented objectives and importance of course in his address. He also thanked Acting President for his cooperation and keen interest in the course.

Chairman Department of Training at the academy, Dr. Muhammad Shahid Rafi and Course Coordinator Hafiz Muhammad Zaheer also spoke on the occasion and presented details of the previous courses. At the end, publications of Dawah Academy were presented to Prof. Dr. N. B Jumani.
