President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Dariweesh visited Sulaiman Bin Abdullah Aba Al-Khail – Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Science (SA-CIRBS) at male campus in Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences.
IIUI President was briefed by Dr. Abdul Hameed, head of the Centre, regarding the activities and performance of the department. IIUI President directed that the center and all other departments must enhance national and international collaborations. He added that research must be the top priority of IIUI scholars.
IIUI President hailed that few of the scholars of the center were going to abroad for their research abilities. He hoped that the Centre would soon become a recognized hub of basic sciences research. IIUI President was told that as many as 50 research papers were published by the scholars of the center, upon which he lauded the efforts. He furthered that IIUI is proud of this centre. He stressed that all the conducted research at center must be relevant to the needs of society.
On the occasion, IIUI President also visited all the labs at center and met the staff members of Sulaiman Bin Abdullah Aba Al-Khail – Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Science, while Chairmen Environmental Studies and Computers sciences were also present on the occasion.
