IIUI RECTOR CALLS FOR VARSITIES’ ROLE FOR KASHMIR ISSUE

Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) has said that role of universities is vital to highlight the cruelty of Indian forces on innocent Kashmiris.

This he said during his meeting at his office with a delegation of All Kashmir Forum which was headed by Member Legislative Assembly of the Azad State of Jammu Kashmir Sehrish Qamar.

The IIUI rector told the delegation that university will soon arrange an International Conference on Kashmir issue which will be aimed at highlighting the brutality of Indian Forces. He added that IIUI provides prioty cooperation to the students who hail from India occupied Kashmir.  The IIUI Rector told the delegation that previous month university had arranged a dialogue on Kashmir issue which was joined by the renowned media persons , AJK government officials and students.

Member Legislative Assembly of the Azad State of Jammu Kashmir and the Chairperson Standing Committee of Industries & Social Welfare AJK Sehrish Qamar and Ex. Deputy Speaker of Azad Jammu Kashmir Assembly and Secretary General of state political party All Jammu & Kashmir Muslim Conference along with delegation of All Kashmir Forum including Qamar Zaman, Abdul Basit Khan and Faran Iftikhar met with Rector International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Dr.Masoom Yasinzai.

The delegation opined that that international community should play role for giving right of self-determination to Kashmir. Sehrish Qamar said on the occasion that Indian Forces are killing the innocent Kashmiris which is violation of human rights and a coward act. She appreciated the role of IIUI to raise the awareness of Kashmir issue and kept it alive.
