nt of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology of International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) organized a workshop on antibiotics resistance awareness.
The workshop was conducted at Applied Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering lab. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President IIUI chaired the concluding ceremony where he hailed the efforts of the organizers and termed the activity as a constructive opportunity for the students.
Resource persons including Dr Bushra Uzair, Assistant Professor of the department, Prof Dr Abdul Hameed, Director ORIC and other Scientists from Centre from Inter disciplinary research discussed various topics and had discussions with as many as 50 particpants.
Earlier, Chairperson of the department, Dr Asma Gul thanked IIUI administration for cooperation in the workshop. She also thanked Dr Bushra Uzair and Dr Nyla Jabeen for organizing this activity.
