Directorate of Distance Education, Faculty of Social Sciences International Islamic University, Islamabad arranged Learning Management System (LMS) training for staff members of Shariah 
Academy and Dawa’s Academy of the university. Mr Sajid Shah, IT Expert was the resource person of the training.
The training was conducted in view of growing demand of distance education and to enhance the capacity of e-learning and teaching of other departments. The basic aim of the training was to equip the staff members of other departments and constituent units/academies of the university with LMS to launch new academics programs and courses through distance learning mode.
It’s pertinent to mention here that university is successfully running certain degree programs through distance education and gradually increasing its strength by offering range of degree programs.
On the occasion, Dr. Nabi Bux Jumani, Director, DDE appreciated the training programs being conducted for staff members to make them fluent in advance technology and advised Dr. Sheikh Tariq Mehmood, Deputy Director, DDE to arrange such trainings regularly.
