The newly elected body of University Staff Welfare Association (USWA), International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) led by Muhammad Tariq Khan newly elected President USWA called on Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh President of the University.
Dr. Al-Draiweesh congratulated all the elected members and leadership of USWA; he also hoped that USWA would continue to play its constructive role for the development and progress of the university.
He appreciated the contributions of university staff and urged more efforts to up-lift the standard of university while terming them a back bone of the university. President IIUI also assured his full support and cooperation and said all such efforts would be made for the betterment of every employee of the university.
The USWA election 2016 were recently conducted fully in peaceful milieu in which more than 1800 employees cast their votes and Mazdoor Itehad Group by securing 840 votes won all the seats and maintained the continuity of its success. The Insaf Group secured 538 and Pasban Group earned 409 votes and stood 2nd and 3rd respectively.
