Internship, Career Planning and Industrial Liaison Cell
The mission of the cell is to provide guidance and resources to our engineering student body for the attainment of students’ career-related goals. The major objectives of this venture are:
partnering with students and alumni to facilitate career development through experiential learning:
advising on information and programs to understand the career-related needs of students;
involving alumni, parents, and employers as key resources in the development of informational and experiential career exploration networks; nurturing and growing relationships with organizations interested in the recruitment and employment of students and alumni.
Internship Program
Internship is a three-way partnership of employees, students and educational institutions that has benefits for all participants. Students gain valuable work experience. Employers benefit from highly motivated students who are available for special projects and work-load periods. The faculty and University also enhance their reputation for providing career-oriented applied education.
At the conclusion of the internship, the student is required to submit a placement report for evaluation by the host department. Throughout the internship period, an internship Co-coordinator from our cell acts as a Liaison.
