Dr. Muhammad Bashir Khan Vice President International Islamic University, 
Islamabad (IIUI) attended the meeting of Executive Council of Islamic Universities League (IUL) representing IIU held at Asyut University, Egypt.
The meeting of Executive Council of IUL was chaired by Dr. Dr.Abdullah Bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Turkey General Secretary Muslim World League (MWL) which discussed various proposals for the uplift the standard of member universities and vowed to enhance the capacity of these universities to make them closer to each others.The meeting was attended by delegates from different universities of Saudi Arabia, Libya, Sudan, Palestine, Chad Kuwait and Egypt as well.
Dr. Bashir also attended the sessions of seminar titled “Role of Media for Countering Terrorism” in which speakers highlighted various aspects of the topic particularly issues lingered with Muslim Ummah.
Dr. Bashir also shared his comprehensive talk and apprised the participants that curse of terrorism to be curbed with effective measures of education and how IIUI maintaining stable and peaceful environment and producing harmonious graduates.
VP Academics IIUI also met with Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Turkey and Dr. Jaffar Abdussalam Secretary General Islamic University League particularly discussed the matter of mutual interest and briefed them recent IIU achievements and future plans.
