17TH ISLAMIC LAW ORIENTATION TRAINING PROGRAM FOR ULEMA & MUFTIS CONCLUDES

A six days Islamic Law Orientation, Training Program, organized by the Department of Fatwa Studies of Shariah Academy, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), concluded here at Faisal Masjid Campus of the University.

 

As many as 45 participants hailing from the various regions of the country including Religious Scholars, Ulema and Muftis, participated in the training course.

 

The objective of the training course was to propagate religious awareness among the people to make a harmonious environment among religious and Government Sector of the country. It is pertinent to mention here that Shariah Academy is organizing various training courses for religious scholars from across the country to educate them about the concept of Islamic Law, the legal and judicial systems of the country while, this six-days training Islamic Law Orientation course is specially designed for Ulama & Muftis of the country.

 

The course consisted of various themes about the concept of Islamic Law as Methodology of Issuing Fatwa, Contemporary Issues regarding Medical Science, Islamic Banks as an alternative tool to Conventional Banks and their modern applications, Shariah Standards practiced by the Islamic Banks, Halal Foods Issues, Legal and Judicial Systems of the Country, the Constitution of Pakistan, the role of the Council of Islamic Ideology of Pakistan and Federal Shariah Court to Islamize the Laws of the country and Family Laws of Pakistan.

 

Course participants were provided helping material regarding the course during the training program while comprehensive lectures were arranged through renowned scholars.
