The 106th Selection Board meeting of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) concluded after two sessions held at the Faisal Masjid Campus. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).
The Board reviewed agenda items related to academic appointments from the Faculty of Management Sciences, Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, and the Faculty of Languages and Literature. The proceedings were conducted in accordance with the university’s statutory provisions and merit-based selection procedures, ensuring transparency and adherence to established regulations.
The meeting was attended by permanent members of the Selection Board, including Hon. Mr. Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer, Judge, Federal Shariat Court, Islamabad; Prof. Dr. Ghulam Raza Bhatti, Vice Chancellor, Federal Ziauddin University Islamabad (Nominee of Chairperson HEC); Prof. Dr. Sadia Nadeem, Dean and Head of School (Management Sciences), FAST University Islamabad; and Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad,Vice Chancellor, Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President (Research & Enterprise), IIUI, served as Member Secretary of the Selection Board. Also present were Mr. Syed Hasan Aftab, Vice President Administration and Finance; Mr. Saqib Rasheed, Deputy Director HRM&D; along with other concerned officers.
After detailed deliberations, the Selection Board finalized its recommendations in line with IIUI’s rules and regulations and its commitment to academic standards and institutional transparency.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed thanked the honourable members for their participation and acknowledged their role in ensuring a transparent and merit-based process. In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed appreciated the coordinated efforts of the Human Resource Section, Quality Assurance Directorate, Protocol and Public Relations, and the Meeting Section for facilitating the proceedings in an organized manner.
