MS Environmental Policy and Management (EPM) (2 year)

The programs are intended for mid-career professionals with an interest:

  • In maintaining human development with environmental integrity,
  • In emphasizing upon national environmental policy and management and
  • In resolving the impacts of environmental degradation on human environment through leadership.

The main objective (s) of the Graduate programs are: to provide professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute, directly or indirectly, to the conservation and prudent use of natural resources for the benefit of society. This program will facilitate in understanding, analyzing and assessing problems from local and global perspective; in proposing sustainable solutions to environmental problems; and in contributing towards the development of policies and strategies for environmental planning. The M.S. Program in “Environmental Policy & Management” is of 2-years duration (4-semesters), that consist of an extensive course work of 30 credit hours beside an individual research Thesis (6 credit hours) related to local environmental issues and their workable management process.

2-years (4-semesters) for MS & 3-5 Years for Ph.D Program

Course work (Core & Elective Courses during 3-semesters for MS & Additional 18 Credit Hours for Ph.D)

Individual Research Thesis/Dissertation Research related to local environmental issues and their workable management process.
